Roast, Beef-like

Roast:

¾ cup walnuts

½ tsp. salt

1 cup water

½ tsp. onion powder

1 ½ cup gluten flour

½ tsp. garlic powder

2 TBS whole wheat flour


Broth:

4 cups water

½ tsp. onion powder

1/3 cup soy sauce

½ tsp. garlic powder

1/3 tsp. salt

2 TBS. nutritional yeast flakes


Preheat oven to 350. Blend walnuts and water on high until creamy. Mix remaining ingredients in a large bowl. Pour walnut liquid into the dry mixture, and quickly knead. Cut into 2 portions, and shape into loaves. Place in an 8x8 baking pan. Set it aside. BROTH: Stir all ingredients well in a small mixing bow. Pour broth over the loaves and bake for 1 hour.
