Pumpkin Wild Rice Hotdish

Cut top off pumpkin and clean it out

1 1/2 lbs. wild rice

celery (1/2 stock)

carrots ( about 5 shredded)

onion (one diced)

spike seasoning

1 12oz bag of Morning Star Meal Starters (sausage style crumbles)

cook rice, sauté vegetables. Mix all together, add spike or whatever spices you like. Put in pumpkin -put top on pumpkin and set in a pan with 1 inch water. Bake at 350 degrees for about 1 1/2 hours.

Works best if you bake it in the pan you can serve it in. The pumpkin gets soft and is hard to take out of pan. Pour excess water out of pan before serving.
