Pasta Fagioli

Pasta Fagioli

2 Stalks celery, thinly sliced
1 Small onion, chopped fine
1 14 oz can white beans (navy, great northern, etc.)
1 28 oz can diced tomatoes
1 6 oz can tomato paste
1½ Cups water
3-4 Cups dry pasta, prepared (rotini, penne, etc.)
½ cup pesto sauce (or 1 tsp Italian Seasoning)
½ Lemon, squeezed

Saute celery and onion in olive oil or water until clear, then add next 4 ingredients. Heat until warm, then add prepared pasta and seasonings. Stir and heat until all ingredients are warm.

Serves 4-6
